“Transfer of Low Carbon Technologies through the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM)”

The Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) and Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC)

The event served to introduce recent efforts to promote the transfer of technologies implemented as part of the MOEJ programme for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM). The discussion covered how technology needs surveys are conducted in selected sectors of developing countries, and how matchmaking with the private sector is conducted for developing JCM projects.
