Indonesia: Energy Saving by Installation of Double Bundle-type Heat Pump [Toyota Tsusho Corporation]
2017.10.05
A double bundle-type heat pump that generates both hot and cold water was introduced in serviced apartments for long-term residents and business travelers in Indonesia.
This enables hot water supply to public baths with one third of the energy compared to a conventional boiler as well as effective use of cooling energy for air conditioning in the apartments.
At the 6th Joint Committee of the JCM between Indonesia and Japan (an introductory article has been posted on our facebook page already), Mr. Rizal Edwin Manansang, Co-chair of the Joint Committee, showed his expectations on this landmark JCM project of serviced apartment buildings to be widely known.
With this project, the efficiency of the heat supply system is expected to be over 4 times more than a conventional one, and achieves reduction in electricity consumption and CO2 emissions.
