Vietnam: Eco-driving by Utilizing Digital Tachograph System [Nippon Express Co., Ltd.]

In this project, 130 trucks in use by NIPPON EXPRESS (VIETNAM) are fitted with an eco-drive improving system using digital tachographs* and the drivers are given advice in order to improve their driving behavior.
Eco-driving contributes to CO2 emission reduction and also to decrease the number of traffic accidents.

* Digital tachograph is a system to record running distance and relevant data on driving behavior of drivers. Those data are analyzed to clarify their driving behavior and utilized for eco-driving training for drivers.
