2018.05.08

In Bonn, Germany, the 48th Session of the Subsidiary Bodies of the UNFCCC (SB48) is held around the beginning to the middle of May.

Ministry of the Environment, Japan (MOEJ) and the Overseas Environmental Cooperation Center, Japan (OECC), together with Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), will organize a UNFCCC official side event, which focuses on empowerment of developing countries to gain access to climate finance through capacity building.

As a good practice leveraging climate finance under the JCM, the project “Installation of Solar Power Plant for Power Supply in Ulaanbaatar Suburb” will be introduced by Mr. R. Jigjid from Everyday Farm LLC, Mongolia and Mr. Iwai from Farmdo Co.Ltd., Japan.

Furthermore, the event is attended by Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board Member, government officials of developing countries (Papua New Guinea and Mongolia), Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat and MOEJ to discuss how we facilitate investment, leading to sustained dissemination of low carbon technologies. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to the event!

The event will take place at 16:45 on Tuesday, 8 May 2018 at Kaminzimmer, World Conference Center Bonn (WCCB).
