JCM Good Practice: Introduction of Amorphous High Efficiency Transformers in Viet Nam

In Viet Nam, Amorphous high efficiency transformers have been replaced from conventional transformers by the JCM. It realizes contribution to GHG emissions reduction.

This project has started in southern since 2014 and expanded in Central and Northern. About 10,000 Amorphous transformers have been introduced in whole country.

Moreover, the Amorphous transformers were transferred to Lao PDR in 2018. Technology introduction can be transferred over the country.
